A busy family of four our clients had a beautiful two story 1950s weatherboard home in Birkenhead. They have stunning views from their deck, great outdoor space for the kids and plenty of bedrooms to go around. However, their living spaces were limiting the enjoyment of their home.
We worked with an engineer to make structural changes and opened up the entire space. We put in a new kitchen with oak panelling, a marble bench-top, all new appliances and a breakfast bar. The existing native rimu flooring was retained to ensure consistency with the rest of the home.
